about

This song is inspired by all the classic D&D bards that immortalize adventuring parties in their songs.

lyrics

There’s a place where the travelers go when they’re new in town and in need of gold
Get a pint and grab a seat ‘cause you never know who you’re gonna meet

Down at the tavern

There’s a farmer with a haunted field, if you can turn undead that’ll seal the deal
A silver mine with a goblin pack you’ll get 50 gold if you drive them back
Feast your eyes on a lady Faire all the locals say she’s a dragon slayer
Polish up that rusty sword join the western march against the savage horde

Down at the tavern

You’ll meet some strangers and you’ll join a party
Each one’s got their reasons why they take the quest
In time those strangers will become your family
Always fighting by your side against all the rest

And one day when you’re back this way all the folks in town are gonna know your name
You’ll drink for free and you’ll play some cards while your song is sung by the local bard
