pavinguire I'm always at home for theme music for Gene Wolfe's masterpiece 🤘 Favorite track: The Claw of the Conciliator.

Wyandottemike All of these tracks are great. This album came out just after I finished reading Gene Wolfe’s New Sun books. Listening to this really brings me back to those amazing books. Loot the Body has a distinct sound on every album so not every one is for me. But between this and Skate Wizards i can say the band makes amazing music. Favorite track: The Shadow of the Torturer.

moreorlessbunk I loved these intros for Podside Picnic and I've been waiting eagerly for the release. They're consonant with the mystery and wonder of the Book of the New Sun.

about

Early in 2022 Karlo Yeager informed me he was planning a read-along of Gene Wolfe’s “Book of the New Sun” for his excellent podcast, Podside Picnic. He wanted it to be something special for his subscribers and asked if I would be interested in making some original instrumentals for it. Flattered and somewhat intimidated, I jumped at the chance. I am very grateful to Karlo for the opportunity to make this music. I hope you enjoy these instrumental jams and that they bring you good vibes and inspiration.
